Eye of the Sun

The udjat is one of the best and widest known symbols from Egypt. This necklace is inspired by the power of the Eye of Horus and Eye of Ra in Ancient Egyptian/Kemetic mythology. Traditionally the left and right eyes, respectively, these symbols represented the personifications of power by the Gods Horus and Ra. Often associated with the moon (Horus) and the sun (Ra). In the case of Ra, this power was often personified by other deities, like Sekhmet, Bast(et), Hathor, Wadjet, Mut, Nekhbet, and others.

This necklace features an antique bronze udjet pendant on a strand of carnelian, lapis lazuli, sunstone, and glittery brass-plated glass faceted rondelles. Finished with an antique brass clasp. $48

Happy New Year…And A Sale!

Any of the sale pieces left after the end of the month will be taken down and the pieces repurposed into new projects, so if you’ve had your eye on any of these items don’t wait! And don’t forget—I offer hold and layaway options! You can check out my policies here and then send me a message on Etsy to set up a plan.

Eye of the Sky

Just listed today! This necklace was inspired by the Eye of Horus/Eye of Ra in Egyptian mythology. The stylized eye (right often representing Ra and solar qualities while the left represented Horus and lunar qualities) was a powerful ancient protection amulet and symbol of the physical manifestation of the God’s power.

Eye of the Sky Necklace:

Ancient Egyptian-Inspired Candles

In addition to jewelry, I also design and make soy container candles. My candles are 100% soy wax, hand-dyed and scented with pure essential oils, in a sealable glass jar. I use wood wicks (which produce a campfire-like crackle) and decorate them with glitter that catches the light during burning. I currently have several candles inspired by ancient Egypt.
